A CO-EDUCATIONAL PREP SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN AGED 4-11
As well as class music lessons, all children participate in their year group singing and weekly hymn practice. There are many performance opportunities with choirs, instrumental ensembles and an orchestra. At Christmas, parents are invited to the candlelit Carol Concert at St Luke’s Church.
Individual tuition is available on a wide range of string, wind, brass instruments, piano and voice. Children have the opportunity to enter Associated Board examinations and perform at school concerts each term.
Drama lessons for Years 2 to 6 are led by a subject specialist in dedicated facilities. Nativities take place for Reception and Years 1 & 2 and there are school productions for Years 4 & 6. A variety of co-curricular clubs are offered in this subject area, as is the opportunity to take LAMDA exams. All children take part in class assemblies performed to parents over the course of the year.
