Leavers

The majority of our children move on to leading London Day schools, including Dulwich College, JAGS, Alleyn’s, Emanuel and Streatham & Clapham High, following entry examinations at 11 years of age. Each year a few also move on to boarding schools such as Windlesham, Feltonfleet, Benenden, Cranleigh, Prior’s Field & Lord Wandsworth College. A small number also move to local, highly competitive state schools such as The Oratory, Graveney and Lady Margaret School.

In the past three years, children from Hornsby House have earned a total of 53 scholarships to independent schools at 11+.

During their time at Hornsby House School, the children are well prepared for their entrance exams and for the transition to larger secondary schools. We are always delighted when past pupils come back to visit the school, our Summer Fete or send us news of their progress.
