Extra Curricular

At Hornsby House our extensive extra curricular programme offers children the opportunity to develop a broad range of interests.  Clubs and squad training take place before and after school and vary each term. 

Children in the Lower School are encouraged to begin with just one after school activity each week as they can still find the school day tiring. 

Senior Prep

Children in Years 5 and 6 are invited to attend Senior Prep until 4.30pm, during which time they can complete their homework in a quiet working environment with help from a senior member of the teaching staff.

Extended Day

The school offers extended day care. Children may join us at ‘Early Bird Club' from 7.45am - 8.10am, when the main gates open.

After School, ‘Homework Club' is available until 5.15pm. Children are given a healthy snack and play break before being supported in completing their homework. Both facilities may be booked on either a termly or an ad hoc basis.
